It’s time for the summer bod, pump up the PROTEIN!

Hi Wildly Living friends!  This week I am talking about another favorite lifestyle of mine: health and nutrition.  I live in airports and constantly on the road, which requires discipline when it comes to meal choices if I want to stay fit and healthy.  I’m a fitness and nutrition nut.  I test and sample numerous nutrition products, so when I find a high quality product that tastes good I’m going to share it!  I started my limited dairy, no wheat/gluten lifestyle over 15 years ago when I found out I had an allergy to both products.

Being a fitness nut I drink protein shakes like they are going out of style.  I didn’t know how much whey protein caused inflammation in my system as my body and dairy do not get along.  Inflammation from food sensitivities stalled my fitness efforts, but when I found Paleo Protein Powder by Nutri-Dyn I started doing cartwheels.  This protein powder is made from BEEF…yes meat.  Their 100% beef protein isolate is made right here in the
USA.  There are two flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla, both are low in sugar and carbs.  The amino acid profile is similar to whey protein minus the lactose and milk sugars, which can cause stomach bloating.  Plus this protein powder mixes easily in liquids and you also can bake with it to make delicious protein pancakes.

According to Nutri-Dyn’s website beef protein powder is a high-quality, fast digesting protein source that provides essential amino acids and creatine.  It may promote lean muscle strength and recovery.  Beef protein does not contain lactose, so it’s an option for those with milk allergies or intolerances.  The convenience of paleo protein removes the need to sit down and consume a meal.

This easy-to-digest supplement is free of rBST/rRGH, hormones, GMO’s, gluten and dairy.  It does not contain added collagen or gelatin.  Recommended use is to take one scoop daily mixed into 8 to 12 ounces of water or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. I travel with this protein powder as it makes a great healthy meal or snack on the airplane, out in the field, after a work out or on your boat.   If you’re looking for a delicious tasting, pure protein isolate supplement that is made from USDA-grade, hormone-free beef, and gives you the results you’re looking for click this link:

Before I go, I want to share with you one of my favorite summertime protein shakes: The Mocha Madness Shake

  • 1 cup of Almond milk (or any other nut milk)
  • 4 to 6 coffee ice cubes (this is the secret ingredient, pour dark coffee into an ice cub try and freeze)
  • 1 scoop Nutri-Dyn Dynamic Greens Expresso flavor
  • 1 scoop Nutri-Dyn Chocolate flavored Paleo Protein powder

I love the Nutri bullet blender for easy use and clean up. It blends the ice perfectly and you can take the cup and the lid for a shake on the go! You can check out the Nutri bullet by clicking Nutri Bullet
